If you are… you’d be very welcome! Situated on Dean St, just off Shaftesbury Avenue you’ll find step-free access throughout the church, the whole service printed in one easy to follow booklet and a table with some books and activity sheets for children.
The service starts promptly at 11am, and we try and precede this with about ten minutes of quiet as we still our hearts and minds in preparation for worship. We encourage people to be here for the start of the service but we won’t make you feel guilty if you don’t manage that.
As well as space and quiet in worship we value singing with gusto, thoughtful preaching and enjoy being in the company of people who take God and their neighbour more seriously than they may take themselves. We do enjoy a bit of fun here!
After the service we serve refreshments and everyone is welcome to share in these, most of the congregation stay for coffee, but we’ll understand if you’re daunted by the prospect of ‘having to mingle’ and would prefer to slip away. On the second Sunday in the month some of us head off for lunch locally afterwards and all are welcome to make up the ‘eating party’.
But don’t just think about coming to St Anne’s…. do it! We’d love to welcome you here.
